DESCRIPTION:The UofL campus community is invited to celebrate UofL's larges
 t student-run philanthropic organization, raiseRED, at our annual dance ma
 rathon. Our dance marathon is a 12-hour event from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on Satu
 rday, Feb. 21, 2026 in the Student Activities Center.\n\nWith over 680 reg
 istered UofL students this year, we will celebrate their year-round fundra
 ising advocacy efforts at the dance marathon. This includes stories about 
 our raiseRED families, fundraising, games, cause connnected moments, frien
 dly competitions, and more.\n\nAll money raised by raiseRED supports patie
 nt needs and programming at Norton Children's Cancer Insitute and pediatri
 c hematology and oncology research at UofL School of Medicine. \n\nCommun
 ity members, including UofL faculty and staff, are invited to join us at a
 ny of the three following times during the event.\n\n\n	Opening ceremony -
  10 - 11 a.m. - Kick off the dance marathon with us by meeting our dancers
  and families.\n	Community celebration - 2:20 - 3:20 p.m. - Join us in hea
 ring from our doctors and clinic staff (spoiler alert: you'll get to meet 
 Luna, the facility dog at Norton Children's Cancer Institute) and more mem
 bers of our raiseRED community.\n	Closing ceremony - 9:15 - 10 p.m. - Wrap
  up the 12-hour event with us as we celebrate our award winners, do our fi
 nal dance, and reveal our total amount fundraised over the past year.\n\n\
