DESCRIPTION:Join the Hite Institute of Art and Design for a lecture with vi
 siting artist Kristina Paabus.\n\nKristina Paabus is a multidisciplinary v
 isual artist and printmaker. Her work examines systems of power and contro
 l, with a focus on Soviet and post-Soviet histories. Paabus earned her BFA
  from RISD and MFA from SAIC. Paabus has participated in numerous national
  and international exhibitions and artist residencies, and was a recipient
  of a Fulbright Fellowship in Estonia. Paabus is based in Ohio, where she 
 teaches printmaking and serves as Department Chair and Associate Professor
  of Studio Art at Oberlin College. Special thanks to the UofL Liberal Stud
 ies Visiting Scholars Project for co-sponsoring this event.
