DESCRIPTION:If you are a current PhD student at the dissertation phase, the
  University Writing Center has a great opportunity to set aside dedicated 
 time to get writing accomplished and to get strategies for improving your 
 writing process. \n\nThe retreat will run May 11-15, each day from 8:30 a.
 m. - 4:00 p.m. There will be opportunities for writing time, regular meeti
 ngs with a writing consultant, and small group writing discussions. \n\nPl
 ease visit our website to apply. Applications should include documentation
  of your dissertation progress, a letter of intent, and your advisor’s l
 etter of support. The deadline to apply is April 4, but completed applicat
 ions will be accepted on a rolling basis.
